Our Kindergarten Family were ecstatic when boxes were arriving into our classroom. At first, they could never understand why we were receiving these boxes until I opened the first box. Their reactions were priceless only because they were expecting toys to utilize and play with. Not only were the students were being curious, but this was also another way for me to include my classroom family to take part of these mystery boxes.\r\n\r\nFirst box that arrived were PILLOWS! Immediately, students shouted \"More pillows, Yay! Now we donʻt have to share or take turns for the pillows teacher\"! Hehehe! Yes, I have some brilliant students with high language skills. \r\n\r\nStudents function so well when following classroom management and routines. Allowing students to be flexible when working in small groups or independently improves datas and scores during their weekly assessment. With intensive modeling on how these materials should be used, students begins to minimize behavioral issues and show growth in their academic areas.\r\n\r\nOur next project to enhance productivity using these new materials throughout the school year. As I mentioned before, I focus on the students as a whole and not just their academic or learning skills. I oversee their fine and gross motors, behavioral, academic, cognition and language skills. By allowing students to move around the classroom gives me the idea that each student will find their comfort zone to work independently without hesitation.
