Their eyes lit up the first time they saw the boomwhackers and rhythm sticks, and the room instantly filled with excitement. \r\n\r\nSince then, the resources have become part of our daily learning. We are using the boomwhackers to play songs in ensemble style, which helps the students learn about melody, harmony, and teamwork. The rhythm sticks have been a great tool for practicing steady beat, rhythm patterns, and coordination, and the students love the active, hands on way of learning. \r\n\r\nFinally, the stand cart has been a quiet but powerful game-changer! Keeping the music stands organized and out of the way has made our room more functional and safe, and it saves us time during transitions. \r\n\r\nBecause of the generosity of you, my students are not only making music- they are building confidence, joy, and a stronger sense of community in our classroom. My students use headphones daily and these have made such a difference in the classroom. We use our headphones to complete online lessons and diagnostic assessments. We also use them on our \"Fun Fridays\" to play learning games when earned. Some students in my classroom have sensory deprivation and can get easily overstimulated by outside noises, so having quality headphones helps them stay focused and relaxed.\r\n\r\nThe students were so excited to have their own \"special\" headphones. Each student gets to practice responsibility by keeping them in his or her cubby, and winding the cords up to keep the headphones \"safe\". The use of the devices has empowered my students to take charge of their learning and testing experience and future with these tools.\r\n\r\nIn closing, the generous support of your donation makes it possible for my students to develop organization skills needed for school and for life!
