Our aging backs have felt a 100 times better with new chairs that support us. We allow the student of the day to sit in one of our fancy chairs for an hour. The moral in our room has increased due to the comfy chairs. \r\n\r\n Students have also enjoyed using the wiggle pillow when they are have trouble holding still. I have seen an increase in concentration and time on task. The floor desk have been amazing! Not only does it give students an alternative place to work but it also helps keep students sitting. In order to keep the table up to write you need to stay seated. This allows up to turn off the bright overhead light. The overhead lights can cause headaches and over stimulate students. The soft lighting allows up to create a calm enviroment to learn in. \r\n\r\n Students love their new light tables. We have used them with sand to practice writing letters, numbers and sight words. We have also used them with overhead geometric shapes to create pictures and work on fractions. I am also giving 2 wooden trucks with wooden blocks to students who are on this developmental level. \r\n\r\nThe bag will also include playdough for enrichment play and science projects. Each kiddo will be given science activities on their level. I have also included pop it's! These are fun and entertaining to my kiddos.
