My students and I absolutely love having these new baskets in our class. When my students first saw the new materials they all began cheering and were incredibly excited to see how well they fit in their desks. They loved putting all of their materials away in their very own basket. Some of the students could fit their special art box in the basket now as they were not able to do that before. \r\nMy students use these new resources everyday. They are able to lay all of their markers, crayons, glue and scissors out so they can find their materials quickly and independently before starting the activity. Recently one of my students got very excited because when I asked them to get out their scissors for a project, he said it was so easy to find them and he didn't have to dig in the bottom of his desk. He said that it helped him to not feel frustrated when looking for his scissors.\r\nComing up in the next few weeks my students will be working on a mini book about firefighters. They will be using their scissors, markers, crayons and glue a lot each day in order to put together their books so these baskets will help them to stay organized and find their materials while working on the Ollie project. At the end of our unit about firefighters my first graders and I will be taking a field trip to the local fire station where they will get to see how firefighters use their tools in person. They will also get to go inside of the fire truck to check out what it looks like in the inside. I plan to use the baskets provided to collect the permission slips from their families for them to be able to go. Thank you again for all of your support and helping my students be successful this school year.","fullyFundedDate":1757339065479,"projectUrl":"project/make-room-lets-get-organized/9673333/","projectTitle":"Make Room!
