The snacks and breakfast foods made it possible for me to send home some much needed food for a student whose parents are between jobs. When my students come late and tell me they didn't eat breakfast I have the ability to give them something to eat. These supplies have the power to make a student's day completely different.. they seem like small things but they have a lasting impact.\r\n\r\nAnother thing that has been soo great is the way I am able to organize everything so that the student's have easy access. It gives them so much comfort and power to know that there are supplies for them and they have access to them. When a student has an accident I am able to provide them with clean clothes, I can make sure our room is comfortable and safe so they aren't ashamed or embarrassed.\r\n\r\nThank you so much for giving my kids their dignity and the ability to focus on their education not what they are lacking physically.","fullyFundedDate":1756249570402,"projectUrl":"project/warm-hearts-full-shelves-restocking-ou/9458831/","projectTitle":"Warm Hearts, Full Shelves: Restocking Our Caring Closet","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Megan","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp8628431_orig.jpg?crop=2015,2015,x0,y235&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1660708142880","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/8628431"},{"teacherId":8628431,"projectId":9434374,"letterContent":"I want to extend my heartfelt gratitude for your generous contributions to our classroom. Your support made it possible for us to have essential supplies like tissues and wipes, helping us maintain a clean and healthy learning environment. We were also able to add new reading buckets and colorful chair covers that have truly transformed our space. The bright, organized classroom has brought so much joy and excitement to my students—they love walking into a room that feels welcoming and special. These additions have not only improved the look of our classroom but have also encouraged students to take pride in their learning space. It's amazing how something as simple as a pop of color or a new reading bin can motivate young learners to engage more deeply in their studies. The end of this school year was incredibly different than the beginning. I could see the calmness in my students as they used the tools, you provided for them, on a daily basis. \r\n\r\nI have students who have gone from needing 5-6 breaks a day to only 2 or 3, because they have small tools that make big differences. \r\n\r\nAs a class, we've used the stories to learn about emotions, skills, friendship, our bodies, and how to calm down. \r\n\r\nNow, all my students know that they CAN DO hard things!
