It meant so much to me and my students to be able to commemorate two years together with a book from our read aloud series and even more personally, the picture of our class. The kids were so happy to receive these as they now have keepsakes to remember the times we had together. Though it was sad to know that their elementary career was now over, they will cherish those items for years to come!\r\nOn the second to last day of school, I set up a whole day of magical activities to bring them once more into the land of Harry Potter. They needed to complete games and crack codes written in ancient runes in order to release our class elf from his curse and open up the mysterious trunk!
