The Spanish in a Flash cards have become a favorite during station rotations and review games, helping students build vocabulary in a fun, low-pressure way. Students who were previously hesitant are now actively participating and even asking to lead activities.\r\n\r\nThe dictionaries—especially the visual dictionary—have been a game changer. Students are relying less on me and more on these resources to figure out meaning on their own. This has been especially helpful for my struggling learners and students with IEPs, who benefit from visual supports and structured tools.\r\n\r\nOur class has also started incorporating short readings from our bilingual books. Students feel a sense of accomplishment when they can understand parts of a real story, and it's helping them make connections between Spanish and English in meaningful ways.\r\n\r\nThe snacks have helped build a positive classroom culture. I use them as incentives during review games and participation challenges, and they've helped motivate even the most reluctant learners to engage.\r\n\r\nMost importantly, students are starting to feel successful again.
