My class was able to get hands-on learning all through the month of May. We planted lima bean plants and grew them. The students enjoyed learning the process of planting and taking care of a plant. The entire week was full of learning and each day was began with a book teaching the skill for that day. We did a whole interactive week with Eric Carle. We read the books, completed activities, did crafts, and compared and contrasted the different books. We also completed a whole week of Ocean/ Beach week leading up to our kindergarten graduation. They loved having the room changed into the theme and being immersed in the topic through all aspects. Without your support, I would not have been able to create such an amazing learning experience for the end of the year!
