Students who previously struggled with overwhelming sensory input or the need for movement now have access to fidgets, tactile materials, and other supports that help them find calm and focus. These breaks have become productive reset periods rather than chaotic transitions, as children can now engage with tools specifically designed to meet their individual sensory profiles.\r\nThe impact extends far beyond the break periods themselves, as students return to instructional time more regulated and ready to learn. Teachers have observed decreased behavioral incidents, improved attention spans, and greater independence as students learn to recognize their own sensory needs and select appropriate supports. The sensory materials have helped create an inclusive environment where differences are accommodated and every child has the tools they need to succeed. Students have developed better body awareness and self-advocacy skills, often requesting specific sensory tools when they recognize they need support.
