The Kleenex is handy with every sneeze and running nose, and I can't say enough about the gift cards. \r\n\r\nLast week, we learned about \"ck\" digraph and made a \"ck\" craft from Teachers Pay Teachers. My students had to cut, color, and glue together the craft's components to build the visual. The craft served as a visual mnemonic device that connects the /k/ sound to an image, like a duck. My students were elated to see more fun and engaging materials come into our classroom.\r\n\r\nOne of our favorites is the Magnetic Fishing Sight Words Game. We are using the sight word fishing game to help recognize words we often see when reading. The game has been an engaging tool that helps with recognizing, spelling, and reading sight words.
