The foam floor mats that you helped me purchase made a fun inviting space for students to learn and play. In preschool, most of our learning takes place on the floor. This allows for students to be able to sit how is most comfortable for them, whether criss-cross apple sauce, knees tucked to the side, legs stretched out, or laying on their bellies. The foam mats protect them from the cold hard floor and give them a defined space of their own. \r\n\r\nThe foam mats are also colorful, which is not only fun and welcoming, but can be used for learning purposes as well. We use the different colored mats to play color games, counting games, and following direction games.
