Students use the writing notebooks to complete their daily warmups. \r\n\r\nThey are learning to follow instructions by formatting the notebook into a weekly format. This has been a struggle for a number of them.\r\n\r\nThey are practicing their writing skills because they must respond to the daily writing prompt regardless of whether it is math-focused or focused on something else.\r\n\r\nHaving access to these notebooks reduced the amount of notebook paper that was required to complete warmups. It has made grading warmups faster because they are all in one place.
