These materials are very engaging and allow for a hands-on, multisensory approach to learning. My students are particularly enjoying our new phonemic awareness paddles which allow students to practice phoneme-grapheme mapping. Students are finding success in segmenting spoken words into individual sounds by moving magnet tiles into Elkonin Boxes for each individual sound, then pairing each sound with print, and writing the completed word on the line provided. \r\n\r\nWhen my students first saw the materials, they didn't even know where to begin! We took time to brainstorm all the different ways we could incorporate the use of these materials in to our lessons, giving us new ideas and increasing student buy in! We always look forward to new ways to incorporate the materials. The best part is the quality of materials will allow for these materials to be used for years to come!
