We immediately embarked on a hands-on project, constructing simple lemon batteries and using them to power small LED lights. The students were amazed to witness the chemical reaction in action, observing how the citric acid in the lemon, along with the copper and zinc electrodes, could generate enough voltage to illuminate a bulb. One particularly memorable moment was when a student, initially skeptical, proudly held up their lit LED, exclaiming, \"I made light from a fruit!\" This tangible demonstration of scientific principles has ignited a spark of curiosity and a deeper understanding of energy conversion.\r\n\r\nOur next steps involve expanding upon this foundational knowledge.
