While many people use technology at home, its purpose in schools, especially in special education can be very different and incredibly powerful. These tools are helping my students build communication, social, and academic skills by allowing them to record their voices, practice presentations, and review their own work in a supportive, visual way. The recording equipment gives students immediate feedback, helps them understand their progress, and encourages them to participate more confidently. The added student supplies ensure that every learner has what they need to stay engaged and successful during our lessons.\r\nWhat excites my students most is the chance to see and hear themselves learn. They love using the video and voice recorders to practice reading aloud, retell stories, and create short projects that show what they've learned. Several students who are typically shy have especially warmed to the microphones and voice recorders, such as one student who struggles with verbal communication now eagerly records short messages, and another student who rarely raises his hand proudly uses the microphone during group activities. These tools have opened new opportunities for expression, participation, and confidence building. Thank you again for your kindness and support; your donation is already making a meaningful difference in my students' learning and growth.","fullyFundedDate":1756660874113,"projectUrl":"project/lights-camera-learn-enhancing-special/9630353/","projectTitle":"Lights, Camera, Learn: Enhancing Special Education with AV Tools","teacherDisplayName":"Mr. Nelson","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp10195632_orig.jpg?crop=1:1,smart&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1755822085921","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/10195632"},{"teacherId":5263717,"projectId":9268204,"letterContent":"Thank you so much for supporting our classroom organization project!
