That is because the students are more engaged in their classwork and learning in order to play with their friends and partners. These are all strategy games and it can help with math concepts and topics, as well as social skills and connection. The students have enjoyed the friendly competition and begin rounds that switches so everyone has a chance. \r\n\r\nThe pencil sharpener has made writing so fun because it sharpens our pencils in lightning speed. That helps students get back to work and focused to all the critical thinking that comes with writing narratives, etc. They like to see that their writing is as sharp as their minds on a great day. It has not been a distraction like the older pencil sharpeners that did not even sharpen after a minute.
