It was such a treat! My students learned, felt valued (especially when they returned the keys to their beloved teachers and principal, and shard that their tires were filled and car clean)! \r\n\r\nWe spent afternoons outside, talking, sharing, laughing and being productive! It was amazing! Being at an alternative ex school my students often don't want to share and they don't necessarily trust adults and teachers. Being outside and washing cars, checking tire pressure and oil, etc allows us to talk and share in a more natural setting! With this new storage and display furniture I have been able to make our counseling center a bit more welcoming and supportive.
