We've been using the rolling whiteboard for whole-class lessons, while the mini lapboards have given every student the chance to actively participate. During math, they love solving problems on their boards and holding them up to show their answers, which makes the lessons interactive and fun. The smaller easel boards have been perfect for group work, where students can jot down ideas, sketch diagrams, or organize their thinking. One memorable moment was during a multiplication review game—students were so eager to solve the problems quickly and clearly on their lapboards that they asked if we could play again the next day!\r\n\r\nThe first reaction when students saw the materials was pure excitement—many of them couldn't wait to open the markers and start writing. They immediately began testing out the lapboards, writing their names, drawing quick sketches, and even making \"welcome\" notes for each other. The energy in the classroom was contagious, and the new supplies instantly made learning feel more hands-on and engaging.\r\n\r\nAs for our next steps, we are using the whiteboards and markers to support both math and writing lessons. In math, students are practicing multi-digit problems and division with immediate feedback. In writing, they're brainstorming ideas and revising sentences together before transferring their work to paper. Our fifth grade students have been working with them first and they have made huge gains in the past couple months. The challenge of learning an instrument has given many of my students a new drive and ambition in class to succeed. Each time a new skill is unlocked I have seen their confidence grow. \r\nThe ukuleles have provided a source of enjoyment in class as we are able to play along with many popular songs that the kids know and can relate to. It has been so fun to watch them apply the chords and the technical skills they've learned when playing along in real time with their classmates. I am very excited to include our ukuleles in one of our spring concert songs so the students can show off some of the work they've put in.
