Instead of just reading about science and history on a screen, students are actively immersing themselves in virtual worlds and conducting tangible experiments. For example, with the Snap Circuits, they are building real working electrical circuits, which is a powerful, hands-on way to understand energy and physics. The VR sets transport them from the classroom to a virtual lab with Bill Nye or a magic stage with Penn & Teller, making complex academic content fun and engaging.\r\nBeyond the content, these tools have fostered vital 21st-century skills. Students are collaborating in groups, problem-solving, and communicating their findings, often without realizing they are building these skills. The 5th edition of the Inheritance Cycle Series, Murtaugh, caused a few students to decide to re-read the first 4 in the series so they can fully enjoy the new 5th book! My students were so happy, and their happiness built mine as well! With this specific project, books like Dogman volumes 11-13, Enola Holmes Collection Volume 1 & 2 (Six books in 2 volumes), and The Last Kids on Earth series will expand our library. We also have some classics like Jane Austen's classic book set, Iliad graphic novel and Edgar Allen Poe graphic novel of stories.
