They are popular options for students and we are learning how different kinds of seating can aide in our focus at school and provide a different element to our classroom environment, especially since we are in one room for most of the day. The students were so excited, especially for the black lap desks. They have taken spelling tests on them, practiced partner work, and other fun activities while using the lap desks. \r\n\r\nWhile are continuing to grow comfortable in our room, I hope that my students grow in their ability to find things like different seating options that help them learn in school. I always encourage my students to listen to their bodies and what they need, and a different place to learn is sometimes the key to a great work time! The National Geographic animal books are a start to my classroom collection for an informational writing project the kids do on animals! I am so excited to have some of my own classroom set! \r\n\r\nThe paintbrushes and paint will allow us to incorporate more art projects into our learning - I know the kids will be just as excited about this as I am.
