That has all changed with your contribution to make our classroom library exciting with new chapter books. \r\nThe books you donated were of different levels and with characters of different cultures and backgrounds. Students are being exposed to new series they hadn't heard of and are now very interested in. \r\nIn third grade, students are working on building their reading stamina and with these books they are able to read for longer periods of time during independent work time. While I am pulling small groups to focus on targeted skills, the rest of the class are working on reading skills. They have enjoyed reading the new books in the classroom.\r\nOne particular student has read all of the new graphic novels added. The books were part of a diverse collection and they enjoyed learning about character from different cultures. They even asked if there were more we could get!\r\nThank you again for your donation. I taught this students class at the end of the day and we just opened the boxes, used the different fidgets, and talked and cried together. I cannot thank you enough for helping me to provide that comfort.\r\n\r\nThe different supplies have been used by all of my students throughout the building.
