My students have enjoyed these new additions and were eager for me to introduce and read them. When we received them, a few of my students were able to read several words with me! The library became a new adventure for my class. They wanted to explore and look through the books. They would ask for the student teacher, teacher assistant, and myself to read for them. Sometimes we partner up with a 5th grade class and have them read to students as book buddies. My students asked when they were coming in to read our new books several times but unfortunatly we could never fit another session in. \r\n\r\nIf time permits we try our best to read an additional story outside of our curriculum story each day. We have a small book shelf where I add theme or seasonal related books to and I have a library center that holds all of my books. These are separated so that I can easily pull from and add to the book shelf. I also have additional seasonal books on top of the shelf in bins so students can pull and read on the cozy carpet. Students love going to that carpet during free time to read books. \r\n\r\nI look forward in reading these stories to my new students this new school year! I hope having a more diverse and exciting library of books increase my students' interest in and engagement with reading. Your support has made a tremendous impact—not just on me as an educator, but most importantly, on the students I have the privilege to teach and inspire every day.\r\n\r\nThanks to your donations, I was able to bring in direct resources that supported academic learning in ways that truly matter. From essential supplies like books, manipulatives, and classroom tools to organizational materials that helped structure our learning space, every item has played a part in enriching the educational experiences of my students. These resources have created opportunities for deeper engagement and meaningful learning, and I have already seen a difference in the confidence and enthusiasm of my students as they interact with their learning environment.\r\n\r\nYour contributions also helped ensure our classroom remains a clean and safe space. In today's world, maintaining a healthy environment is more important than ever. Your support made it possible for me to stock up on sanitizing materials, storage bins, and cleaning supplies that protect the health of our students and create a space where they feel secure and focused. This peace of mind is something I could not have provided alone, and I'm incredibly grateful for your role in making it possible.\r\n\r\nBeyond the physical resources, your kindness allowed me the flexibility to create and provide items for my students that were not otherwise accessible. Whether it was custom-made learning games, behavior management tools, or personalized classroom decor that celebrated each student's identity and contributions, your generosity enabled me to go beyond the basics. These touches made the classroom more welcoming, more inclusive, and more reflective of the students it serves.\r\n\r\nAs a first-year lead teacher, I have been building my classroom from the ground up.
