The glow party was amazing. The joy on the children's faces was priceless. They had fun building with cups, STEM building, painting with glowing paint, making crowns, playing games, doing exercises, making necklaces, and 100's day snacks. \nAfter lunch, we were able to celebrate with a dance party that was enhanced with glow wands and glow sticks from this project. The other teacher has loved them as well and has written her own project so she can receive more materials as well. I was also able to store frozen snacks as well. Students loved popsicles and frozen yogurt as a way to cool off after a warm recess. They are having so much fun writing stories and illustrating pictures. They. have come so far this year. My class is always excited when I tell them it is time to write in their journals. They love having a book that is full of their own writing. I can't wait to send the journals home at the end of the year for their parents to see all of their writing samples they have created.
