All 52 of my students were eagerly awaiting to find out what was in the large boxes! Once opened cheers and excitement filled the classroom. I set up the reading chairs that very day, for our reading rotations. Students immediately cozied up in them. Some students opted to sit up tall, while others were reclining back...all were super comfortable and all the students were reading! These cozy chairs have been magical with encouraging students to zone in on their reading! \r\n\r\nThen the books began to arrive and the students were so excited to add them to our chapter book shelf. Around January we will begin our autobiography unit and I cannot wait to share the set of Childhood of Famous Americans, with them. Last years classes could not get enough of these books so to have such a variety in my own class will blow their minds! Thank you!\r\n\r\nThis week we will be jumping into the Pinky and Rex series, with our shared reading program. So excited to have this set of Pinky and Rex books ready for book boxes to continue to build on that joy of reading! Many of my students are ready to read these today and others will grow into them as the year goes on! A love for books will continue throughout the year! Thank you for promoting this joy! My students and I are so appreciative!","fullyFundedDate":1752914758604,"projectUrl":"project/readers-are-leaders-cozy-options-to-en/9441504/","projectTitle":"Readers Are Leaders. Your support has made such a meaningful difference for my students and me, and we are truly grateful. Because of your kindness, my students now have the opportunity to choose seating options that best support their focus, comfort, and learning styles. It has created an environment where they feel more ownership of their learning and more excited to come to class each day.\r\n\r\nThe impact has been incredible to see already—students are more engaged, collaborative, and motivated. Flexible seating has allowed them to move, adjust, and find the space where they feel most productive, which has led to improved focus and participation. Most importantly, it has fostered a sense of community and respect, as students learn to share and make choices responsibly.
