My students were beyond excited to see the boxes being opened in our classroom. When our classroom library was fully set up, my third graders were thrilled. My students were so excited ton be able to finally have a beautiful classroom library that they could go to to find books to read. One of my students commented on how my classroom had the best books, and every student was able to find a book that they were actually interested in reading instead of just picking a book up to fill a requirement. Moments like these show just how powerful access to the right books can be.\r\n\r\nThe library has quickly become a safe and welcoming space in our classroom. Students curl up with their books during independent reading, trade recommendations with friends, and see reading as something exciting instead of a chore. Because the shelves now include such a wide variety of topics and levels, every reader is finding something that makes them feel seen and engaged. The shelves, and bins also keep the classroom library well organized so students are able to find the book they are looking for, and put it back on their own!\r\n\r\n\r\nThank you for making this possible.
