The alphabet arcs have been a huge hit with my students. They love coming into reading group and taking out the alphabet arcs. They practice putting the foam letters in alphabetical order, saying the letter names as they place them down. This activity has really improved their letter naming fluency. \r\nThe students also enjoy looking through the alphabet books. While they are still learning to decode words, they are able to use the pictures to match to the letter sound. The uppercase/lowercase letter cards are colorful and engaging. We use them to match letters and for fluency drills. \r\nThank you again for your support. To keep their little bodies moving, each activity is in a different space in the room. The flexible seating has provided them options to help them feel comfortable while working on the floor! Their favorite seem to be the amazing cushioned recliner seats! And since everyone wants to use them, we have learned some valuable lessons in sharing and being patient. The cushions and wobble cushions add the perfect variety for when students are reading independently, some for the very first time! Every student has learned to treat the seats gently and to be responsible in putting them back after they are used.
