These are divided into 3 groups which allows us to see the books clearly. I also really enjoy the smaller, colorful bins for beginning reading decodables. \r\nWhen my students enter my room, they constantly ask to read books. Other teachers walk in and say, \"wow! How wonderful!\" Other students say, \"aww, I wish we had this in my room!\" My students and I say a humongous thank you!\r\n\r\nIn first grade, students participate in independent learning stations two times during the day. To keep their little bodies moving, each activity is in a different space in the room. The flexible seating has provided them options to help them feel comfortable while working on the floor! Their favorite seem to be the amazing cushioned recliner seats! And since everyone wants to use them, we have learned some valuable lessons in sharing and being patient. The cushions and wobble cushions add the perfect variety for when students are reading independently, some for the very first time! Every student has learned to treat the seats gently and to be responsible in putting them back after they are used.
