The quality of paper we were able to purchase has allowed us to create games that can be manipulated by little hands and that will last.\r\n\r\nMy students have loved being able to practice segmenting by jumping the sounds, pushing \"buttons\" and driving cars. The variety of colored paper has allowed me to differentiate different vowel sounds and have enough picture card baggies that if students miss one while cleaning up I don't have to go through each bag and count I just have to match the color. The different colors have also made it fun for my students that if they finish a bag before time is up they can go switch for a new color. Rapid letter and number card rings have been created to help increase automaticity and fluency for my students.
