My students have been using the new materials during our soft start in the morning, which has proven to be invaluable in their social and emotional development. These materials are an essential part of our morning tub time, providing opportunities for students to work together, practice communication, and develop problem-solving skills in a cooperative setting. Since receiving your donation, my students have shown remarkable growth in their ability to manage their emotions and interact positively with one another.\r\n\r\nOne of the highlights has been the math light table materials, which my students absolutely love during our math center rotations. They are not only engaged and excited to use the materials, but they also take great pride in caring for them, putting them away neatly, and sharing them with their classmates. It's heartwarming to see their sense of responsibility grow. The excitement in their eyes when I first announced that we received these new resources was truly priceless. They were thrilled to have hands-on materials that they could explore and learn from in such an interactive way.\r\n\r\nLooking ahead, I plan to continue incorporating these materials into our daily center rotations, providing more open-ended play opportunities that are so beneficial for kindergartners. In the new year, we will use the light table, dominos, and magna tiles to enhance their number sense, building the foundation for simple addition and subtraction. I am excited to watch their growth in this multi-sensory environment that your kindness has helped make possible.
