Your generosity has had a meaningful impact on our classroom, and I wanted to share some of the highlights. The electric stapler has been a game-changer; we use it every day! Pictured are my 12th-grade students peer editing their essays, all neatly stapled thanks to this tool. It saves time, keeps our work organized, and allows students to focus more on learning and feedback.\r\n\r\nThe Elmer's glue you provided has also been a huge help. We always seem to use it up quickly! Most recently, 9th grade students used the glue for a project in which they connected vocabulary and key terms to create posters demonstrating their learning from our non-fiction unit on global food production. This hands-on activity allowed students to deepen their understanding while also expressing their creativity, making the learning experience more memorable and meaningful.\r\n\r\nYour contributions also supported the purchase of the phone pocket chart, which aligns with our school initiative of being 100% phone-free. This small but powerful addition has allowed students to stay fully engaged in lessons and collaborate more effectively. I've noticed higher levels of connection, engagement, and creativity this year than in previous years, and I'm excited for this pattern to continue. Thank you so much for helping create a more focused, interactive, and inspiring learning environment!","fullyFundedDate":1756150480686,"projectUrl":"project/stocked-for-success/9357655/","projectTitle":"Stocked for Success!","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. H","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp6361298_orig.jpg?crop=1:1,smart&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1689021513013","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/6361298"},{"teacherId":6361298,"projectId":9357654,"letterContent":"I want to thank you for your generous contributions to my project. Your support has made a real difference in my classroom, especially in helping motivate and encourage my students. \r\n\r\nI've been using the chips you helped fund as rewards in our reading intervention class for when students show improvement in their reading scores. Your donations have also allowed me to create birthday bags for my homeroom students, which have helped build a positive and caring classroom community. Finally, I've been able to hand out pieces of gum on testing days. Even though those long testing days can be tedious, I've found that offering something as simple as a stick of gum helps show my students that I see their effort and care about their well-being. Looking ahead, I plan to continue using these items as meaningful rewards, especially during our upcoming spring reading placement tests. \r\n\r\nThank you again for your generosity. Because of your kindness, I was able to stock up on stickers, lollipops, cookies, chips, and Rice Krispies treats. These items may seem small, but have made a huge impact in my classroom. These treats have helped me celebrate and motivate students in meaningful ways. Whether rewarding students for meeting their reading score goals, showing positive behavior, or participating in review games, your donation allowed me to create a more joyful and encouraging learning environment. \r\n\r\nOne of the most special uses of your donation was putting together birthday goodie bags for my 12th grade homeroom students. High schoolers often don't get the same kind of classroom celebration as younger students, so it was incredibly rewarding to see how much they appreciated the recognition. These small surprises brought smiles, laughter, and a sense of community to our class. Thank you for helping me bring a little extra joy and motivation into my students' days.","fullyFundedDate":1723673546790,"projectUrl":"project/celebrating-our-successes/8504316/","projectTitle":"Celebrating our Successes!","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. H","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp6361298_orig.jpg?crop=1:1,smart&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1689021513013","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/6361298"},{"teacherId":9009681,"projectId":8608800,"letterContent":"The granola bars donated to my classroom had a significant impact on my students' education by ensuring they had the energy and focus needed to engage in learning. Many students come to class hungry, which affects their concentration, participation, and overall performance. By providing a simple snack, I was able to remove a major barrier to learning. With a nutritious option available, students could better focus on class discussions, complete assignments more efficiently, and stay engaged throughout the lesson. This small act of support fostered a more inclusive learning environment where all students, regardless of their personal circumstances, had a fair chance at success. Additionally, knowing they had access to food created a sense of security, allowing them to feel more comfortable and motivated in class. The granola bars not only provided nourishment but also showed students that their well-being matters, reinforcing the idea that their success is important to me and to the school community.
