Your kindness has brought so much joy, excitement, and learning to our students.\r\n\r\nThe children were thrilled when they saw the new sand toys. Our sand center has quickly become one of their favorite places to play and learn. Through building, digging, and creating together, they are developing fine motor skills, practicing sharing and cooperation, and using their imaginations in wonderful ways. What once was simple playtime has become a rich learning experience that encourages creativity and teamwork.\r\n\r\nThe learning games have also made a huge impact. The students are now more eager than ever to explore math, literacy, and problem-solving through hands-on activities. Even children who were once shy about joining group work are now participating enthusiastically and feeling proud of what they can do.\r\n\r\nYour generous gifts have helped make our classroom a more engaging, inclusive, and joyful space. Every day, I see the smiles, the teamwork, and the confidence growing because of your support. You have not only provided new materials but also inspired curiosity, collaboration, and a love of learning that will last well beyond this school year.\r\n\r\nThank you again for believing in our students and for helping create such a positive, playful, and meaningful learning environment. It has been so fun introducing old playground games and new physical education games to the classroom environment. It has been great to see the excitement for the new equipment and for classroom teachers and students to interact in fun recreational games. \r\nIn addition, once the students figured out how best to use the Scooter Hockey sticks it became a new favorite of many and a great way to keep the students active during the hot days at the end and start of the school year. KAN Jam was another game, students were eager to play after learning the rules and getting the hang of the game. \r\nLastly, the old school game of 4 square came with laughter, excitement and endless game time. Along with the other recess equipment of soccer balls, basketballs, and jump ropes the students have been enjoying the new materials both in class and recess.","fullyFundedDate":1742925771183,"projectUrl":"project/healthy-and-recreation-lets-get-fit/9139673/","projectTitle":"Healthy and Recreation... My students recently used the materials to build and test simple machines, applying their knowledge of force and motion. They worked collaboratively to design and refine their models, fostering critical thinking and problem-solving skills.\r\n\r\nHow did your students react when they first saw the materials?\r\nTheir excitement was priceless! As soon as they saw the new STEM kits, their eyes lit up with curiosity and enthusiasm. They couldn't wait to explore, ask questions, and start creating. The energy in the room was electric as they eagerly unpacked and experimented with the new tools.\r\n\r\nWhat are the next steps for your students on a current classroom lesson or project?\r\nNext, we'll be diving into coding and robotics! Students will use these STEM tools to program small robots, enhancing their understanding of computational thinking and engineering principles. This hands-on experience will prepare them for future STEM challenges while building confidence in problem-solving and innovation. I want the very best learning environment for them. This year I was without a set floor space for thirty students to sit. My last rug was not useable and so I needed a new one. It is so helpful to have an organized space for children to sit during learning time. We do a lot of our work seated on the floor.\r\n\r\nThis rug that was donated proved each child with a place to sit on the floor.
