They are excited to have a choice of soccer balls during our outdoor play time. They are busy trying to get the ball into the net and laugh and laugh while trying to do so. They have been making TK size hurdles and trying to jump over them and feel so accomplished! They take turns on the sit and spin. Soon we will put them out together and they can create an obstacle course. The paint is used daily to create beautiful art of their choosing and also teacher directed art on our construction paper. They are talking with peers about what they can create together. From the moment it was introduced, they were curious. They had not engaged with something like this and found it difficult at first, but have worked together to figure out the weaving in and out motion. This helps them build Math patterning skills, fine motor skills and those so important social skills when working with others!\r\nWe are currently using the ribbons that are part of the project. I know they will get creative and start to use leaves, small twigs and classroom scarves!. \r\nA million thanks for your generosity!
