My students have been earning keychains, pop-its, stickers, and other fun rewards by showing teamwork, responsibility, and effort in music class. One special moment was when a student who had been working very hard on a rhythm activity proudly picked out a music-themed keychain and immediately attached it to their backpack to show off. These rewards are motivating students to stay focused and give their best effort.\r\n\r\nWhen my students first saw the new treasure box items, their faces lit up with excitement! They eagerly gathered around to peek inside and started talking about which item they hoped to earn first. The pop-its and stickers were especially popular, and students couldn't wait to share their prizes with their friends and families. The excitement has added even more energy to our classroom.\r\n\r\nThe next steps for my students are to continue connecting positive behavior and effort in music with these special rewards. As we move into new projects—like performing rhythms on instruments and working together in movement activities—the treasure box will keep reinforcing the idea that hard work and teamwork pay off. These fun items not only bring joy but also encourage students to take pride in their learning.","fullyFundedDate":1746785634804,"projectUrl":"project/going-for-gold-in-music/9137788/","projectTitle":"Going for Gold in Music!","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Atcheson","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp9930346_orig.jpg?crop=180,180,x0,y39&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1740418594627","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/msatcheson"},{"teacherId":10061126,"projectId":9426627,"letterContent":"When our classroom rugs arrived, my students' faces completely lit up. Many of them ran over to sit down right away, and a few even stretched out on the soft carpet saying, \"This feels like home!\" It instantly gave our classroom a warm and welcoming space where students feel comfortable gathering together.\r\nWe have been using the rugs for our morning meetings, story time, and small group lessons. One of my favorite moments was during a read-aloud when the whole class sat in a cozy circle on the rug, leaning in and listening so intently. It truly brought us closer as a community. The rugs have also become a favorite spot for partner reading and quiet reflection, giving students a sense of ownership over their learning space.\r\nThe next step for us is to continue building a classroom environment where students feel safe, engaged, and inspired to learn. With the addition of these rugs, we have created a central hub for collaboration, discussion, and creativity. Thank you for making this possible. Your generosity has transformed not just our classroom space, but also the way my students come together to learn each day.","fullyFundedDate":1750710916824,"projectUrl":"project/help-us-create-a-calm-and-joyful-2nd-gra/9426627/","projectTitle":"Help Us Create a Calm and Joyful 2nd Grade Classroom!","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Mapp","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp10061126_orig.jpg?crop=1128,1128,x0,y270&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1750543147880","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/10061126"},{"teacherId":10044248,"projectId":9380484,"letterContent":"Thank you so much for your generous support in funding the two classroom rugs for my first-grade classroom!
