When the new sensory materials, flexible seating, and supplies arrived, my students were beyond excited! Their faces lit up with joy as they explored the sensory tiles, sat comfortably on the floor cushions, and engaged with our new resources.\r\n\r\nOne of the most special moments was watching students who typically struggle with sensory regulation step onto the sensory mat and instantly relax. Seeing students using their hands across the textured tiles, taking deep breaths, and transitioning back to learning more easily than ever before. Seeing students, who have difficulties with sitting still, finding that a floor cushion gave the comfort and support they needed to focus during reading time.\r\n\r\nThese resources have already made a huge difference in our school. The markers and containers keep our supplies organized, fostering independence and responsibility as well as provide area for phonics and math games. The sensory tools provide much-needed breaks to help students self-regulate, and the flexible seating options allow everyone to find a comfortable spot that works best for their learning style.\r\n\r\nLooking ahead, we are using these materials to enhance our hands-on learning experiences. Sensory breaks are now an intentional part of our daily routine, helping students stay engaged and ready to learn. As we continue our lessons in literacy and math, these resources will ensure that each child has the support they need to succeed.\r\n\r\nYour generosity has truly transformed our classroom, and we are so grateful.
