The binders and treasure box prizes you provided have significantly improved my fourth-grade students' organization and motivation. Each student now uses a personal binder to track assignments, study guides, and progress, fostering greater ownership of their learning. The \"Building A Scholars\" treasure box has become an effective incentive, encouraging effort, teamwork, and academic growth.\r\n\r\nMy students were genuinely excited to receive the new materials. They quickly began organizing and personalizing their binders. The treasure box rewards have also promoted positive behavior and persistence, as students are motivated to meet goals, complete reading logs, and demonstrate kindness.\r\n\r\nWith these new materials, we are strengthening our organizational and study habits as we progress through upcoming units. My students are now better equipped to manage their work and celebrate their achievements. Your support has made a big difference in our learning environment and in the lives of our little learners. From the moment the box arrived and we opened it, the students couldn't hold in their excitement after seeing all of the goodies donated. From the pretty blue fidget chairs to the colorful pop-its, the students have been so happy to have these new resources accessible for them to use and engage with. The social-emotional books have also been a great enhancement to our morning meetings giving us new sing-alongs and activities to join in on. \r\n These items have been especially helpful in our calming corner that is located near our library area. This a safe and inviting space that allows the children to unwind and express their feelings in healthy ways. They like to twist or rock their emotions away using the chairs, discuss how to stay calm using the poster guides, and pop their problems away with the pop-its. One of the students even said,\" I love pop-its because the colors make me happy.\" Because of your kindness, our classroom is better equipped to support every students' emotional well-being. We cannot wait to explore and find new ways to use these resources in other areas of our classroom.","fullyFundedDate":1751757456310,"projectUrl":"project/inside-out-emotions-matter/9399136/","projectTitle":"Inside Out: Emotions Matter","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Landfair","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp10050901_orig.jpg?crop=1:1,smart&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1749245769539","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/10050901"}],"pageName":"schoolpage_18754","usesDonorsChoose":true,"infoPageType":"school","demographicsInfo":{"numStudents":241,"numTeachers":17,"percentFrplEligible":95,"percentAsian":0,"percentBlack":98,"percentWhite":1,"percentIndigenous":0,"percentLatinx":0,"showFreeAndReducedPriceLunchInfo":true,"showDemographicsInfo":true,"sourceTooltipString":"the National Center for Education Statistics","gradesServed":"K - 4","studentTeacherRatio":"14.2:1","demographicsDataSource":"MDR School","equityFocus":true,"titleOne":true,"metroType":"TOWN","ncesMetroType":"TOWN_REMOTE"},"inStateSupporters":21.1,"schoolId":18754,"financialInfo":null,"twitterShareText":"Learn more about George Oliver Elementary School on @DonorsChoose:","schoolName":"George Oliver Elementary School","canonicalPageUrl":"schools/mississippi/clarksdale-municipal-school-district/george-oliver-elementary-school/18754"}
