We are in the processing of converting a sensory space for our students, and the swing, light projector, and crash pad will be used frequency to help students regulate.\r\n\r\nOur school is so excited about this opportunity for students with sensory needs. We have used the light projector frequently and students were amazed by the light effects on the ceiling. They automatically became more relaxed and wanted the lights off to watch the space scene on the ceiling.\r\n\r\nOnce we get the sensory space completed, we will have several swings, crash pads, and other sensory items. Students were able to utilize the materials (dry erase markers, pencils) as a need to prepare for instruction. \r\nOther materials(privacy folders) helps with testing for students to concentrate and be confident in their testing. They really love the space between their peers.\r\nThe laminating machine was a great help. It helped with awards, small groups and from printing the papers receptively. This helps with next year to use the same materials.\r\n\r\nThe class has enjoyed all materials donated to classroom.
