They enjoy the various brain breaks and visuals that represent certain things in their real world environment. My students have been enjoying our new flexible seating options every day, and some have been benefitting from the use of the headphones. They were SO excited the first day they walked in to see the new seats they could use!\r\n\r\nSince we do not have enough for everyone, the students trade off and are able to use a wobble stool or yoga ball chair every other day if they so choose. This has been a great system for our classroom, and the students handle the sharing very well. I feel they are definitely better able to focus with the new option. Sometimes they choose to use a new seat and sometimes they choose their normal chair, it's great to have the extra option for them!\r\n\r\nA handful of students have benefitted from having the extra headphones in the classroom. It's great for them to have the resource that their family may not be able to afford. It has also been a great option for when student headphones break that they DID bring from home, for me to immediately be able to offer them a spare pair until they can bring in a new set.\r\n\r\nI am hoping to expand on flexible seating options again with a future project. In the meantime, my students and I appreciate all the help that donors like you have contributed to making our classroom a better place to be NOW!
