So many of my kids come to school hungry and either don't have time to go to the cafeteria to eat or aren't comfortable doing so for whatever reason. They also, many times, do not make it to lunch without their stomach's growling! They have really taken advantage of my snack supplies and have already almost wiped me out. I even have to turn kids away from other classrooms because they know I have a supply.\r\n\r\nThe kids were reluctant to take advantage of the supplies at first, but when they realized they were they for them, they became more comfortable. I generally have the same kids each day that dip into the supplies. Even just the graham crackers have been a hit! I have one specific 7th grader who asks for the tuna snack kits several times a week to eat for lunch so she doesn't have to eat school lunch (which she apparently doesn't care for).\r\n\r\nThe cleaning supplies have also been a blessing. We have so many kids sick this time of year and keeping the desks and tables clean is imperative. They have appreciated being able to clean their work areas up whenever they need to. It helps reduce the spread of illness and encourage good hygiene.\r\n\r\nI would love to be able to repeat this project after Christmas so that I can restock my supplies. They have definitely been a big hit. I never realized how many kids are hungry during the day or come to school hungry until I stocked up these supplies. I am running out now so I am rationing a bit so that they will last until Christmas break.\r\nThank you so much for your generosity. It is appreciated more than you can imagine.","fullyFundedDate":1755521848211,"projectUrl":"project/a-clean-room-and-a-full-tummy/9301206/","projectTitle":"A Clean Room and a Full Tummy!","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Amaya","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://cdn.donorschoose.net/images/placeholder-avatars/272/teacher-placeholder-7_272.png?auto=webp","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/p-amaya"},{"teacherId":4122521,"projectId":9327254,"letterContent":"Thanks to your generosity, our technical theatre program has taken a huge step forward with the addition of a 3D printer and filament. This new technology allows students to design and produce custom props, set pieces, and costume accessories that would otherwise be out of reach. Instead of relying only on what we can purchase or build by hand, students are learning to engineer solutions, refine their designs, and bring their artistic visions to life in ways that connect directly to real-world theatre production.\r\n\r\nThe most exciting part for the students is seeing how their digital designs translate into usable elements for our shows. From intricate jewelry for a character to miniature set models used in the design process, the printer has made technical theatre more hands-on, creative, and precise. Students are thrilled to experiment with new textures, shapes, and ideas—knowing that what they create could end up on stage in front of a live audience.\r\n\r\nOne student in particular, who has always been fascinated by backstage work, has taken a leadership role with the printer. They've become the \"go-to\" person for troubleshooting and teaching others how to design printable pieces. Watching this student's confidence grow as they mentor classmates and proudly display finished props has been a powerful reminder of how technology can unlock hidden talents. Because of your support, our productions now showcase not only artistry but also innovation, and our students are gaining skills they can carry into both theatre and future careers.","fullyFundedDate":1746803328126,"projectUrl":"project/technical-theatresteam/9327254/","projectTitle":"Technical Theatre/STEAM","teacherDisplayName":"Mr. Harris","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://cdn.donorschoose.net/images/placeholder-avatars/272/teacher-placeholder-1_272.png?auto=webp","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/4122521"},{"teacherId":10066073,"projectId":9437825,"letterContent":"On behalf of my self-contained ESE music class, I want to extend our heartfelt thanks for your generous donation that provided us with bongo drums and electric keyboards.
