Whether or not they can hold them independently or not, they provide smooth beautiful colors, as demonstrated on the bunnies.\r\nThe building tools have been great fun for color recognition, spaceship and train building.\r\nThey have had such a great time with your donations. My students were able to create some amazing art celebrating Lunar New Year and the beauty of Chinese art.\r\nMy fifth grade students created gorgeous snakes representing the year of the wood snake. They drew onto the watercolor paper, then added red gold and black for details. They finished off the backgrounds with a wash of liquid water color.\r\nMy fourth grade students learned the commitment and skills it takes to become lion dancers and created lion masks on watercolor paper.\r\nLastly, third grade made a blue and white vase, applying patterns they had seen on actual vases.
