Because of your generosity I have been able to print out supplemental guided notes and activities for my students in my math classes. In my leadership class I've been able to have my students research and create posters during Native American History month, Black History Month, and they're currently finishing up their Women's History Month before beginning Asian American and Pacific Islander month. From strengthening student learning and confidence in math to becoming more knowledgeable while creating a more welcoming feeling in the hallway but celebrating different cultures, I can't thank you enough as these activities wouldn't have been possible without your donation giving me a whole box of paper. \r\n\r\nMy math students have greatly appreciated having rules in their caddies that are used as well as having \"fun colored\" expo markers to use while working on mini whiteboards during work time. Each class CHEERED when I showed them how many pencils we have as a class! I have a handful of students that spoke with me on the side and asked if they could have a few pencils to keep on them which filled my heart knowing these students now have the basic tools they need to be successful in their other classes. \r\n\r\nGiven that my students are in 6th grade, a lot of them have their multiplication tables down but we're rusty when we needed to review. After getting laminated multiplication charts on \"pretty\" paper a lot more of my students were way more confident in out unit. This was a higher quality resource for my students, that I know greatly benefitted my students.\r\n\r\nAs we continue this school year my math students will be using their graph paper as we get into practicing plotting points on the coordinate plane. The graph also greatly benefitted a few of my students organize their work when multiplying decimals.\r\n\r\nBoth my math and leadership students make use of the pencil sharpener & tape dispensers on a daily basis. These items are simple, but have a huge impact on the day to day flow in my class.
