All the supplies have been put to good use. We use sticker charts throughout the year to encourage good behavior and once they fill up their chart, they get to pick a prize from our treasure box. (See picture) \r\nIn Math, we are learning about shapes so with the donated flat toothpicks, we used those and marshmallows to make shapes. (See pictures)\r\nTo practice sight words, we have an \"Pizza Word\" program where students study words from a given list each week and they are tested on Fridays to see if they know the words. They get to decorate their pizza plate with a chef hat and pizza stickers. Once they read all 120 words, they are given a prize which is the pizza keychain. (See pictures)\r\nTo encourage students to study addition facts +0 thru +5, we have a \"Caterpillar Addition Facts\" program. When they finish all their facts successfully, they earn a caterpillar keychain prize. (See pictures)\r\nWe also decorated the donated Valentine's paper bags with heart stickers.
