Thanks to your generous support, our first-grade room is well stocked with magnetic blocks, Play-Doh, and kinetic sand. When the boxes first arrived and we opened them, the reaction was pure joy. I wish you could have heard the chorus of \"Wows!\" and \"Look at that!\" The new materials didn't just feel like toys; they felt like a sign that people outside of our school care about their their ability to create. The various magnetic blocks in particular are a huge hit. Students enjoy building houses, mazes, and challenging each other with new creations. \r\n\r\nThe resources you provided are used every week during our designated free-play and engineering time. It's an invaluable chance for our students to practice cooperation and problem-solving.\r\n\r\nA moment from this week perfectly illustrates the impact: Students played throughout the room using their imagination and ideas with Play-doh, kinetic sand and blocks. They worked cooperatively and quietly until the bell rang indicating a transition. The best part? When the time was up, they worked together, to carefully dismantle their creations and organize every piece back into the bins. They treat these materials with such pride and care, showing tremendous responsibility.","fullyFundedDate":1757864201951,"projectUrl":"project/lets-play-and-grow-with-stem-toys/9562246/","projectTitle":"Let's Play and Grow with STEM Toys!","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Soule","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://cdn.donorschoose.net/images/placeholder-avatars/272/teacher-placeholder-3_272.png?auto=webp","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/8432904"},{"teacherId":8580942,"projectId":9364643,"letterContent":"My students absolutely love their flexible seating!
