The silverware, I think, is what is getting the most use. Teaching them how to cook delicious meals enables them to not only feed themselves, but also their family members and do so on a budget. \r\n\r\nI thank you again for your kindness. When I pulled out all of the new tools and matching sets that they got to put into the cabinets and drawers for their use, they were so excited. We spent a lot of time discussing all the uses for an electric kettle and when I told them we were going to learn how to make pour over coffee drinks, their smiles said it all. \r\n\r\nWhile my classroom is still getting its technology needs filled, we've been organizing and setting up the kitchen for successful use. Every time I've opened a box with our new supplies and distribute them to their designated stations, the students and I talk about all the different foods and recipes we will use them for. \r\n\r\nThey are so excited to get started and so am I! Thanks you again for showing my classroom this love!\r\n\r\nI have a foreign exchange student from Brazil this year. When we were playing a \"this or that\" game, she chose milkshake over smoothie because she had never had one before.
