Thanks to your incredible support, we were able to purchase new beginning band curriculum books, vital instrument maintenance and cleaning supplies, reeds for our woodwind players, and even reward tickets for our classroom management system. Your contributions have made a meaningful and immediate impact on our students, and we are so excited to share the results with you.\r\n When the new books arrived, the excitement in the band room was electric. Students eagerly flipped through pages (despite having used the same curriculum this year already!), exploring the lessons and exercises designed to build their musical skills. These books make a difference in how we structure our lessons—providing a consistent, engaging, and educational framework that helps students progress confidently. The new materials are especially helpful for our beginning musicians, offering them accessible guidance and a sense of ownership over their learning.\r\n The addition of maintenance and cleaning supplies has been a true game-changer. For many of our students, this was the first time they had access to the proper tools to care for their instruments. We've turned this into a learning opportunity, teaching students not only how to play music, but how to respect and maintain the tools of their craft. Students are taking pride in keeping their instruments in top condition, which leads to better performance and longer-lasting equipment.\r\n Our woodwind players were especially grateful for the new reeds. As you may know, reeds need to be replaced frequently for optimal sound quality, and it's not always feasible for every family to provide them. Having a fresh supply has allowed all students to participate on equal footing, improving their tone, confidence, and enthusiasm. It's a small item with a big impact.\r\n The classroom management tickets have also added an extra layer of fun and motivation. These tickets, which students earn for participation, improvement, and teamwork, can be redeemed for rewards and privileges. They've helped foster a positive classroom environment where students are encouraged to support each other and work toward shared goals. The sense of community and pride in our band room is stronger than ever.\r\n Your generosity has not only provided us with physical supplies—it has created opportunities for learning, growth, and joy. The smiles on students' faces when they received these new materials spoke volumes. They know that a community of people—many of whom they've never met—believes in them and their potential.\r\n Thank you again for making this possible. Your support empowers our students to pursue their musical dreams and helps build a foundation for a lifelong love of music.","fullyFundedDate":1746582457055,"projectUrl":"project/music-supplies-and-resources/9327963/","projectTitle":"Music Supplies and Resources","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Lannan","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp9850084_orig.png?crop=1026,1026,x0,y41&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1746558649497","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/fcusband"},{"teacherId":5918106,"projectId":8979619,"letterContent":"Thank you so much for your support! Because of your donations, it helped make Holes our most successful show to date. Many of the items in our project served as prop, costume and set pieces. They all helped add something special to our show. Many of the other items were for our concession stand or to help backstage. One of the biggest hits amongst our cast and crew were these clip on lights; they were a big help to us all as we could have a light source and still have our hands free to do the many tactile things that theater requires. \r\n\r\nThis project impacted our students learning by providing additional resources to aid in our after school theater program.
