Your donation of microscopes, lights, pencils, and other supplies allowed my students to take a more hands-on approach to science and helped me create an immersive experience for the units. I teach a unit on space and the life cycle of stars, the light covers allowed me to transform my classroom into \"space\" the students can look up and see a nebula, the birth place of stars and the led lights allowed me to complete the feel of space and allowed adequate light for students to complete their assignments without having to change the mood.\r\n\r\n My engineering students used rollercoaster sets to learn how to build structures using pictures instead of written directions. This activity was the second stage of their coding and engineering class. Students used the knowledge and experience gained from building the rollercoasters to build and program robots. The students were excited to build and use the rollercoasters to apply forces and Newton's Laws.
