The candy is always popular but the biggest hit was the non-food prizes that I was able to add to the box. The galaxy slime was definitely the most popular item. \r\n Having prizes and incentives really help during the school year, especially towards the end of the year when motivation can be hard to muster. \r\n The students were very excited to get the new additions to the prize box. The wiggle seats have been loved and well used since they arrived. They really help students that require movement or sensory input that our traditional desks do not provide. We have implemented a rotation schedule to share the cushions as everyone wants to use them in class. \r\n The students were so happy when they arrived. They had no idea that the seats had been requested and they were even more surprised to find out that they had been donated. They felt both seen and heard. \r\n Going forward we will try to incorporate more flexible seating options in our classroom to benefit even more students. Having flexible seating options is so beneficial but unfortunately they are costly and not part of the provided classroom materials.
