The magnetic easel has quickly become a centerpiece during our literacy centers—students use it daily to build words with magnetic letters, match sight words, and practice sentence structure. It has made our small group lessons more hands-on and collaborative, and the kids absolutely love working at the easel.\r\n\r\nWhen the students first saw the pocket charts, bookshelves, and number lines, their eyes lit up with excitement. The pocket charts have helped us stay organized during reading and math activities, while the number lines are constantly being used as a visual aid for counting, skip counting, and solving math problems. The new bookshelves gave us a cozy, accessible space for our classroom library, and students are eager to explore new books every day.\r\n\r\nYour donation gave my students more than just materials—you gave them tools that make learning fun, accessible, and meaningful. The students are LOVING the rainbow book bins for their books and excited to fill them with new books each week. They are benefitting greatly from the fidget bands for the chairs as they are helping the kids move while still staying focused. They are also loving the blue seat for the rug. Some use it when they need help sitting still and others try to earn it by listening; it's been a huge hit! They also love the book shelf and being able see and access all the read alouds we do as part of our new reading program. Lastly, the fan favorite has been the stools. They love using them in small groups, pulling them up to other students' tables to work and \"earning\" a chance to sit in one for free choice reading. \r\nAll of these supplies have been so exciting for the students entering this new classroom. They know they are brand new and are taking excellent care of them as well. One student actually asked me, \"Miss White, did you spend all your money on this?!\" and I explained this Donor's Choose website. Having the students understand the idea of a donation and being able to get new and nice exciting things because of it, made them realize how fortunate they are. We cannot thank you enough for starting this year off with such an exciting new set up for a new grade!
