My students appreciate this so much, and I appreciate being able to choose snacks for them that they love, but that are not filled with sugar. My students were so grateful when they saw all of the boxes come in, and so excited to see the new items in the snack cupboard and store. My students were so excited when new snacks started arriving. Most of my students come from food insecure homes and do not start their day with breakfast. So snacks are imperative to keep their brains online for learning. \r\nThere is a noticeable difference in mood, behavior, and achievement when my students have access to a snack mid-morning and mid-afternoon.
