As you know, it has become increasingly more difficult to purchase classroom materials with school-provided funds. By providing these extra funds, I was able to get high-quality products that will be used for many years!\r\n\r\nAfter purchasing these stools, we no longer have the frustration of moving our chairs or stools from one work area to another. These stools provide easy access to our small group setting. In the small-group setting, I can easily differentiate instruction and create custom activities to better meet students' needs. My classroom greatly benefited from the high-interest, diverse books that matched the reading abilities of my struggling and emergent readers donated in this project. Graphic novels such as The Secret Garden, The Hobbit, and Black Beauty allowed my lower readers to enjoy the action and excitement of books with better comprehension and less frustration. Humorous books like Allergic or The Babysitters series encouraged my reluctant readers to read longer and with more enthusiasm.\r\n\r\nA classroom that has new and exciting books motivates students to read. This project put those books into my students´ hands and they flourished. Graphic novels led many students to read novel series for the first time. Introductions to various books opened up a world of reading to struggling readers. \r\n\r\nThank you so very much for investing in literacy and in students' educations and futures.","fullyFundedDate":1724427078957,"projectUrl":"project/energizing-our-classroom-library/8682973/","projectTitle":"Energizing Our Classroom Library","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Kiffe","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/272x272/tp2365139_272x272.jpg?width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1509823985733","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/2365139"},{"teacherId":9693354,"projectId":8682744,"letterContent":"Thank you so much for supporting my second grade students by providing diverse books for our classroom library. My students were able to use these books to access perspectives, cultures, and information outside of their personal experience. In a state that works hard to prioritize IEFA, it was wonderful to offer my students a robust library full of high quality diverse literature.\r\n\r\nWe used these books in a variety of ways. They were always available for students to read and enjoy independently. Many of them became whole-class readaloud books to support our IEFA standards, which the students greatly enjoyed. These interactive multisensory game boards are quite helpful in teaching my students the magic blending of letter sounds, and it is a fun enriching way for my students to receive repetitive practice on CVC words that help develop essential phonics skills which in turn build confidence in their ability to read. \r\nAgain, a big THANK YOU for your donation in making our learning POP in our classroom.","fullyFundedDate":1727062085704,"projectUrl":"project/poppin-learning-fun/8813173/","projectTitle":"Poppin' Learning Fun!","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Crawford","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://cdn.donorschoose.net/images/placeholder-avatars/272/teacher-placeholder-4_272.png?auto=webp","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/9773406"},{"teacherId":9063955,"projectId":8694526,"letterContent":"Thank you for providing additional funds for my class.
