Our school is a very small school (200 students in K-12), and we have been hit with some fairly substantial budget cuts in the past few years. Your kind donation has made it possible for my freshmen class to get new books to replace our books that were completely falling apart.\r\n\r\nI feel that it is important for our students to read some of the classic literature in school where we can discuss some of the important issues that it addresses. To Kill a Mockingbird is one of those texts that I am passionate about. We don't have much diversity in our small town, but I feel these students will see it when they leave our small town limits, and I want to expose them to ideas that may differ from the ideas that many in our small town have. \r\n\r\nOnce again, thank you for your generous donation to my classroom.","fullyFundedDate":1736893292582,"projectUrl":"project/keep-the-mockingbird-alive/9040673/","projectTitle":"Keep the Mockingbird Alive","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. King","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://cdn.donorschoose.net/images/placeholder-avatars/272/teacher-placeholder-6_272.png?auto=webp","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/9296551"},{"teacherId":9245684,"projectId":8571798,"letterContent":"Thank you so much for your donation to my fourth grade classroom.
