Thank you for the great materials, they make our learning interactive and fun! \r\nWe are also, learning about animals, food and things with the materials you generously donated. We are using the alphabet tubs, food manipulatives, farm animal manipulatives, white boards and dry erase markers. We are enjoying our time together, it's easy to lose track of time. The visual time sure helps me. You helped to purchase a PA system that has been so valuable these first weeks of school. This has not only kept our hard of hearing students from missing out, but also helped to keep all students engaged by being better able to hear my voice. No yelling - just engaging! We are having so much fun in music!\r\n\r\nYou are also responsible for helping to purchase boom whackers and drum sticks for bucket drumming. We have already begun learning with the boom whackers. The kids are so excited to work together to play real songs with them. We started small with \"Twinkle Twinkle Little Star\" and have worked our way up to learning \"We Will Rock You.\" Kids are engaged in learning to read music and working as a team thanks to this gift. We will work our way up to bucket drumming and hope to incorporate this in our 5th and 6th grade winter concert.\r\n\r\nLast, but not least, the music room is small and there is no room for tables when we are working to write our own music. The clipboards you have helped supply have worked as portable desks that students Kindergarten to 6th grade have been able to use to engage in music by putting pencil to paper.\r\n\r\nYou have made such an impact in our small school district by helping approximately 450 students enjoy learning about music.
